When they called me about the illustrations for this book I was amazed by the idea.
I was always fascinated by the idea of madness, by the concept of the limit between when you are considered sane and when the society consider you insane! Who choose that? I always considered madness an instant from what everybody says you are crazy. That's why i draw the black man on the back of the lost sane one… and the people around them try to help him remaining sane.
