Handmade self written book for children about the fail in love of the moon for a cute cat.

First book written and illustrated by me.
The main Idea was planned over the concept of noticing all you love only when you miss it. It's a story about the moon who felt in love with a cat, who mainly loves other kittens. Once the cat is in big struggles the moon helps him surviving and as the day came, she rant away… In that moment the cat noticed how much he loves the moon but for all the day he looked fwd to see her meaningless. Only during the evening the moon came back and they can finally meet once again.
All the story was hand painted and I used photoshop 4 to do the cover, strongly inspired by Dave McKean's Sandman's covers.
